A fresh look for the home you already know.
Mayda provides interior and exterior painting for homes. A refresh can begin with one room or bring the interior, exterior and related repairs into a coordinated project.
Start with how you live in the space
Tell us whether you are preparing to move, updating an occupied home or reconsidering colours on well-used surfaces. Timber flooring, furniture, windows and architectural details you want to keep are part of the discussion.
Assess the interior and exterior separately
Inside, identify walls, ceilings, trim, existing damage and furniture arrangements. Outside, identify elevations, materials, previous coatings, entrances and surrounding planting. The two can share a visual direction while requiring different preparation and site arrangements.
Align the main work and supporting tasks
Wall repairs, wallpaper removal, cabinets, fences or a deck may be relevant to the project. Describe the overall result you want, then define each part of the scope. That is more useful than comparing a total with no clear account of the included work.
Use a similar project as a starting point
Photographs of other homes can help communicate colour and detail preferences. Share the city, home type, interior or exterior requirements and photographs of the existing condition. Mayda can then discuss an appropriate assessment and arrangements.
Common questions
Does the whole home need one colour? No; consider adjoining spaces and retained materials, then confirm choices with physical samples. Can you enquire about limited work? Yes; discuss the requirement first, with suitability, charges and availability confirmed separately.
