How Mayda handles your information

This page describes what this website does with information, in plain terms. It reflects how the site works today; if that changes, this page changes with it.

The website itself collects nothing

No analytics tool, no advertising tag and no cookie is set by Mayda on these pages, and nothing you read here is recorded against you. The contact page has fields you can fill in, but they send nothing on their own: the button puts what you typed into an email in your own mail program, and it reaches Mayda only when you press send there. The hosting provider keeps standard server logs, as any web host does.

What happens when you get in touch

Contact goes through the phone number or the email address on the contact page. What you send — your name, how to reach you, the city, what you would like done, any photographs — is used to reply, to prepare an estimate and to carry out the work if you go ahead. It is not sold, and it is not added to a mailing list.

Photographs of your property

Sending a photograph so Mayda can assess the work is not permission to publish it. Project photographs appear on this site only where the owner has agreed, and identifying details such as house numbers are covered before anything is published.

Keeping and removing information

Enquiry messages and project records are kept for as long as they are useful for the work and for ordinary business records, and are seen only by the people working on the job. If you would like what you sent deleted, ask and it will be.

Questions

Ask through the contact page or by phone and Mayda will answer.
