Tile Roof Painting

Mayda Painting provides tile roof painting. Roof material, existing coatings, tile condition and access need to be understood before planning an appearance update. Coating work should be distinguished from leak repairs, tile replacement or a new roof.

Planning the scope

Share safely available photos and any known material or repair history; there is no need to climb onto the roof for an estimate. Confirm preparation, suitable products, protection and scheduling during the assessment.

How we plan the work

  1. Assess the surface. Discuss the material, existing condition, access and the areas involved.
  2. Agree the preparation and treatment. Put protection, cleaning or repairs, the selected finish and responsibilities into the scope.
  3. Carry out and review the agreed work. Confirm suitable conditions, check the scope together and discuss the actual product’s drying and return-to-use requirements.

Can roof painting replace leak repairs?

Do not assume that it can. Known leaks, damage or other roof issues need their cause and repair scope established before coating suitability is assessed.

How Mayda does this

The moss comes off first. A roof left long enough grows a lot of moss and gets genuinely dirty. Pressure washing takes the moss and the dirt off before anything else happens.

Tile takes a roof coating, not wall paint. The product is made for roof tile.

There are a few colours to choose from, dark grey, black and red among them.

A coated roof stays cleaner. With the surface sealed, moss has far less to take hold of, and rain rinses the tile down instead of feeding what is growing on it. The roof holds its condition for a long stretch.
